Sprint21fter Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 Fished club tournament today out of Cow Creek, cranked all day despite the lack of wind until the last hour of the day. Ran to Long Creek after 2 hours staying close. Did have 1 keeper smallmouth at the time. Thought the colored water would help generate a few more bites. Did catch 5 dinks and my partner caught big bass on the non boater side 3.40. Decided to run back to the mid lake section for the last couple hours hoping to chase the wind. Found two stretches with enough wind to catch 3 more keepers and have 2 other nice fish pull off. Wt: 48-50. 14lbs won, Fishrman won 3rd just shy of 13lbs. gurzik, snagged in outlet 3, Quillback and 2 others 5
aarchdale@coresleep.com Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 What tournament do you guys fish out of cow? Yesterday was good for me up Flat creek as far as number but not a lot of size. The boat traffic up the James is just ridicules with all the bare hook draggers, by 11 all the banks were churned up with mud from the traffic and the bite was done. I probably had 15 in 1-6ft until then cranking. Water temp was 53 on my Garmin so 55 on other units gurzik, grizwilson, snagged in outlet 3 and 2 others 5

Bill Babler Posted March 21, 2022 Posted March 21, 2022 If you look at Regatta permits the Rock blows Lake O away. Usually over 100 more a year. It turns into Winter up there. dtrs5kprs 1 http://whiteriveroutfitters.com http://whiteriverlodgebb.com
