People say lake Fork is one of the most heavy pressured lakes in the country but 30lb bags are not a rare thing.

Don't forget there's a slot limit of 16-24 inches on Fork. Gotta return those immediately to the water from whence they came. Big difference when those prime breeding sized fish don't spend half of their lives riding around in a livewell and getting dragged up on a stage to be weighed.

My friend and I watched the TV show , after the first fifteen minutes we started playing a game . Every time someone said front facing sonar we had to take a shot of American honey . Well, we missed the last half hour / 45min of the show were so drunk 😏  it was funny !!

LoZ gets hit harder than TRL and it still produces way more big bass than TRL. What's the difference besides LoZ has way more docks? Do all those docks really protect that many big bass?

I agree and if you take the size of Stockton or Pomme in comparison with TR they have just as many tournaments per acre

The insane boat traffic from Linn cr. to the Dam for 6 months of the year kinda gives a large portion of the lake an "off-season".  Subtract also the 2 coldest months of the year when only the most hardcore guys are out chasing them, and you only have 4 months out of each year when angling pressure is high.

Notice that the upper Gravois, upper Niangua's, and upper Osage (where you can effectively fish all year long) very seldom produces those heavy stringers.  It's that mid/lower lake area.....and the release areas.... that continually give up the heavy weights that win derby's.

Seth - I would actually think that the productivity in Truman and LOZ based upon land use surrounding the two lakes is likely higher than Beaver and Table Rock lakes. If that is correct then a higher amount or higher quality forage base would be available to the bass in LOZ.
